Immunohistochemical Study on the Expression Patterns of C-fos and PCNA in Postantal Growing Bone

Abstract
|
|
|
This study was done to investigate the distribution and immunoreativities of C-fos and PCNA measuring cell division in growing bone using immunohistochemical staining.
@ES The results were as follows:
@EN 1. The pattern of C-fos expression in growing bone was similar to that of PCNA, and positive reaction were observed mainly in proliferating carilage cells, osteoblasts and osteoclasts.
2. From neonatal 1 day to 5th day weakly positive cells were boserved, andthereafter the numbers and staining intansity of positive cell increased, especially at the 15th day.
From these results C-fos is supposed to be a conrtributing factor in differentiation and proliferation of bone growth.
